Rise Consulting and Psychological Services, LLC is a Chicago area firm specializing in clinical, forensic, police, and public safety psychological services. It is certified by the city of Chicago and state of Illinois as a Minority and Women-Owned Business.

Dr. Karmen Clay-Tyler, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, is the CEO and Founder of Rise. The firm aims to provide the highest quality of multiculturally competent psychological and consultation services as it supports individuals and businesses achieve personal and workplace success.

Dr. Clay-Tyler has worked in various settings to include non-for-profit organizations, private practices, and forensic/correctional settings. She has served a variety of populations such as police and first responders, children and adults with learning differences, justice-involved youth and families, and military veterans seeking independent medical evaluations.

Specifically, we specialize in issues surrounding occupational stress and burnout, stress management and resiliency, depression, anxiety, PTSD education/awareness, and emotional intelligence. We also provide psychoeducational workshops to local businesses, organizations, and churches as well as crisis intervention training and consultation to corrections and law enforcement agencies.
